First topic for discussion: whoring yourselfSpacegravy and j000hnyd, both live MTT rookies, who just got absolutely pwnd in their first live MTT are now advertising that they are selling pieces of themselves at WSOP is just laughable. These guys know they won't win anything, but desperate to play these events, simply want to limit their downside. They made all the rookie MTT mistakes of waiting for hands, folding to re-raises, etc. And finally they got into spots for all their chips where they were absolutely dominated. I say again...this is pure desperation and the blogs have a whiff of begging. If they were confident of making big scores they would never do this. Anyone who thinks they're onto a huge profit by backing these idiots is beyond dreaming. You'll notice that Spacegravy would never offer himself this way playing SNGs.

Second topic: playing poker games other than NL hold'em
thenoodlemen etc pretend to be "all rounders" by posting lucky hands on PLO and stud. Don't be fooled, these people have little or no understanding of the theory behind these games, they are just too advanced for them. Look at how thenoodleman plays rolled kings...call call call. Not even a raise on the end! And the fisrt hand, where he had to catch card after miracle card! I guarantee all are big losers in these games, no matter how 2 hands turn out.
Third topic: what to do with my life?
Hardly a blog entry that shows poker is for them. Fieryjustice has had a crazy year, granted. But that was all down to luck after misplaying hand after hand (as we all saw and well documented here). And he's stressed over a $120k mortgage?!?!?!? Why not pay that sucker off and have no debt? It's just stupid.

Stalker, I am disappointed that you missed the most remarkable part of the backing arrangement solicitations. Johnny D at 1.5 to 1 and Gravy at 2 to 1? Are you fucking kidding me?
Good point...I did mean to bring this up. They are basically saying they have a large edge in these WSOP MTTs, which is just ridiculous. I warned before the LAPT that anyone buying a piece of them would lose their money - and that's what happened. I advise even more strongly now. You have to hate money to take this.
Stalker if you play some events of the WSOP then i wish you the best luck, hopefully you are at a table with "an icon" and you can show them how to play poker. I am pretty sure most of the other readers here wish you good luck too, so there shouldn't go something wrong :-) Hopefully you will still have some time for blog updates^^
