Again, who cares about bonuses if you're losing money to get them? Concentrate on WINNING GAMES rather than 50 tabling and getting wrecked. Interesting concept - winning money.
I don't understand why people would buy a piece of him. He's never played a live MTT...that's gotta be -EV any way you look at it. Be sure to avoid his WSOP action, and I'm serious.

They all got back last year....and no one got much of a return....if my memory serves me correctly :)
I think you miss the main theme of sngs. It's hard to have a huge edge in them over a knowledgable competition like cash games and mtts. So with such a small edge and a very simple strategy of playing them, the way to maximize return is to get good at being able to play as many games as possible without taking that much off of any one table.
Also, you can't just go into a 10 tabling session with a specific money goal. It just happens. If you stick to a simple strategy in sngs then over the long run you should see some profit, usually between 2-6% ROI. It won't be knock you over the head amazing ROIs but it's consistency and focus (and ability to multitable a lot) that really makes the difference in profit numbers for sngers. In actuality, it's not really that much skill involved in the actual poker like cash games and mtts.
They just bank on that if they can get in a certain amount of volume, that the profit numbers will arrive as they should. Remember, sngs have very little variance over the long term, and a lot less than other forms of poker.
I'd seriously rather kill myself than multitable 20 SNGs continuously for 12 hours a day for $1-$2 profit per game and some random bonuses. I can't imagine a more depressing existance.
You're right that SNGs don't require much skill. It doesn't take much thought to push all your chips in the middle at any opportunity. That's why they get killed in deep stack MTTs.
Did you ever check Bigjoe's and Spacegravy's sharkscope stats? 180K is a little profit? You must be a millionaire to think that if not then are you bashing winning players? Give us your stars ID and lets see how you do.
And yes, j0hndayt0n on stars is up 70k, Little is up 2,500,000!!!! in live MTT's, and spacegravy recently won an MTT for 76k. If the Stalker dosent like the 'sngicons' as people, thats fine, but it annoys me that he blatantly makes shit up from time to time. I'm all for humor, but get more creative man!
...so many of you do not know about "Stalker #1" as he is affectionately referred to by us bloggers at sngicons.com, but let me assure you that he is the most dedicated hater in the world......keep it coming and don't give up. -bigjoe2003

I am the biggest critic of the so-called SNG Icons. I am tired of them censoring what people REALLY want to say so I have created this blog to let everyone have a voice.

johnny speaks on the stalker's blog
here's my thoughts giving this guy a % of his buy in
probably have a better return if u took a grand and put it though the shredder u may be able to retrieve a 20 or 2 at least

didnt think you morons had anything to reply to the 2 above spectacular commentary on sngs
Back one of these guys for WSOP? They are SnGoers and have little mtt experience and almost zero live mtt experience, how is this +ev?
Why don't you just give a bum $1000 bucks, have him kick you in the nuts and then call it a day?
Some good comments here.
