THE END...for now...

Hi all Stalker fans!

I have to admit, I haven't blogged that much in the last few weeks. The main reason for this is the standard of bloggers on the SNGIcons website. They are neither good players nor do they blog well. It has gone from interesting discussion topics and hand histories to "I won $xxx today and I will win $xxx this month" which no one cares about, especially as we all know some of these donks are on the extreme upside of variance and never talk about their losses.

Oh...the golden times of BigJoe, Wickss, Noodleman and Spacegravy are long past us. These were arrogant people and easy to rip apart and get a reaction from, AND they religiously read my blog. We had a good back and forth. It drove my creative juices and made this blog the internet phenom it has become. These new players, well, I couldn't care less what they do or say because I know they'll go busto sooner or later. Also they have no idea how to make a blog interesting, bad spelling and grammar doesn't help, and neither does BAAAAD discussion topics.

As for Jon Little...well since I challenged him IN PERSON in Vegas, and him declining, he hasn't mentioned me at all (he used to comment on my blog daily). Co-incidence?

Until the site gets some decent bloggers, or the old ones back, I'm going to put this blog on hold. I have some other poker-related business ventures in the making, directly responsible from this blog. You wouldn't believe how many poker websites and magazines have wanted to sign me up. I know how to make articles interesting, as well as having first hand experience with most of the top pros.

As for SNGIcons.com, I hope they re-examine their business plan because I am 100% sure the site is in decline. They are probably too stubborn (or too cheap) to follow my suggestions, but here goes anyway:

1. Sign up some decent players as instructos and bloggers. Get at least one named pro...otherwise Cardrunners and Poker XFactor will always pwn you.

2. Get new web developers and administrators...redesign the poor poor website to attract new customers.

3. Encourage discussions! The best way to do this is to allow limited access to non-members to interact with the trainers, as this will encourage them to join. The old website did this well as people could comment on the blogs. It is no co-incidence that this corresponded with their largest user base at the time.

4. Get TV time. Idea: Contact Poker After Dark for an "online instructors tourney" - 1/2 players from each poker training site. This will generate an enormous amount of exposure. The other sites have done this, SNGIcons.com have not.
