Wow, a noodleman blog entry. I knew as soon as I saw this entry it was going to be some kind of brag post. The fact that the guys hasn't posted since February means he's been getting absolutely trashed in these games so finally he has something to shout about, to raise his confidence. Actually, the funniest thing about this is noodleman's obvious lack of knowledge of computers and technology. FTP, with all it's extra graphics and bells and whistles is a HUGE drain on PC resources. Times that by 16 tables, and a lobby, and for some reason he has AIM and web browsers up on a crappy 2.12GHz...slow down your machine? YA THINK!?! I almost chocked on my coffee when I read that!
- Noodleman: Hi, I'm having PC troubles.
- Circuit City helpdesk: What seems to be the problem, sir?
- Noodleman: I bought this PC three years ago, it was the top spec at the time, but now I'm having performance problems.
- Circuit City helpdesk: I see, sir. May I interest you in an upgrade? There are some nice quad core...
- Noodleman: ...sorry to interrupt you but I have 16 poker games running right now and I need help quickly.
- Circuit City helpdesk: Ah yes, sir. Let me guess, you're playing FullTilt poker?
- Noodleman: Yes, how did you guess?
- Circuit City helpdesk: Because it's a well known fact that FTP eats up all PC resources, I don't even know why people open up so many of these screens! I bet you have AIM and web browsers and porn open too.
- Noodleman: Well, yeah...(cough)
- Circuit City helpdesk: Anytime sir. Were you interested in an upgrade?
- Noodleman: How much?
- Circuit City helpdesk: You're talking over 2 thousand dollars...
- Noodleman: ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDIN' ME!!! I DON'T HAVE THAT KINDA MONEY! I'M A LOW LIMIT SNG GRINDER WHO BARELY BREAKS EVEN THROUGH BONUSES AND A HIGH RAKEBACK DEAL! WHERE DO YOU THINK I CAN GET TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM??

You are making fun of someone else's computer knowledge yet you completely ignore the fact the its a core2 duo, which has much more processing power than a regular 2ghz chip. Its like you're making fun of someone who has 3 fifty dollar bills when you've got a hundred.
These chips weren't even on the market 3 years ago, but don't let the facts get in the way of your blind hatred of a person you've never met.
Hahahah...try reading what I said before you try to berate my posts. Tell me where I compared a core2 duo to a regular chip? I said quad... Sometimes humor just goes right over the head of some people...
Please tell us all what great sin Noodleman committed that he deserves your ire.
If you have a better reason to than "he has a blog on icons and doesn't update it very much." then we'd love to hear it. Until then you just come off as a sad little man that hates on people for no reason.
